Customized weekly menu
-
Customized teleconsultation
-
Customized motivational program
-
Customized physical activity program
-

-
Food supplements and substitutes
-
Weekly customized report
-
The Premium Plan includes:

1 - Standard Plan Content
2 - Customized Weekly Menu
-
Just like in the Standard Plan, at the beginning of each phase of the Premium Plan, subscribers will also receive a generic, but personalized, menu for the next phase.

-
However, in the Premium Plan, subscriber support is even more personalized. Therefore, in addition to the generic menu for each phase, at the beginning of each week they will also receive a personalized menu for the following week.

-
These menus will be developed according to the goals to be achieved, the progress in previous weeks, and the dietary preferences and restrictions of the subscribers.

-
Each menu will include all meals of the day (breakfast, lunch, dinner, and snacks).

-
Complete menus will be provided during the 3 active phases of the program (from week 3 to week 14).

-
Suggestions for healthy food substitutes and supplements will be included so that subscribers have more options and, consequently, greater dietary diversity.

3 - Dietary Supplements
-
Obesity treatment is based on a healthy eating plan, physical activity, and motivational support.

-
For participants where diet and physical activity alone are not sufficient to achieve the desired weight loss, the program's clinical team may prescribe specific meal replacements and nutritional supplements for the treatment of obesity.

-
Meal replacements are foods that provide nutrients (proteins, carbohydrates, fats, vitamins, and minerals) and allow for the control of caloric intake, partially or totally replacing meals, thus ensuring a more balanced and adequate nutrition.

-
The clinical team will preferably teach participants how to prepare their own meal replacements. The team may also suggest some commercially available options, provided they meet the appropriate conditions for consumption. Smoothies, biscuits, soups, puddings, and jellies, among others, can be prepared.

-
According to the EFSA (European Food Safety Authority), "food supplements contain ingredients such as vitamins, minerals, amino acids, enzymes, and plant extracts, administered in the form of tablets, capsules, powders, and liquids." These are intended to complement the diet.

-
If necessary, dietary supplements will be sent directly to subscribers.

-
Among the various supplements available, the following stand out for their safety and effectiveness:
- Glucomannan: a soluble fiber extracted from the konjac root, hydrophilic and capable of increasing its volume 150 times in the presence of water. When it expands in the stomach, it increases satiety and reduces caloric intake. It is the only dietary supplement approved for human use by the EMEA (European Drug Agency).
- Phaseolamin: a glycoprotein extracted from white beans that inhibits the intestinal absorption of carbohydrates. This action reduces caloric intake, promotes weight loss and improves blood glucose control.
- Chromium: a mineral that plays an important role in human metabolism, particularly in carbohydrate metabolism. It enhances the action of insulin, helping to regulate blood sugar levels and, at the same time, aiding in weight loss.
- Spirulina: is a microorganism, known as blue-green algae, and recognized as a superfood due to its very high nutritional value. It is rich in protein (up to 70%), iron, vitamins, and antioxidants. It is effective in weight control because it improves satiety. It also improves cardiovascular risk because it has an antioxidant and anti-inflammatory action and because it lowers cholesterol and blood pressure.

-
There are many other dietary supplements marketed for weight loss that will not be used in the Miosotis Healthy Living Program due to a lack of scientifically proven effectiveness.

4 - Healthy Food Teleconsultation Support
-
The clinical management team will provide ongoing support through a teleconsultation program.

-
The goal is to clarify subscribers' questions related to weight loss and healthy eating.

-
Imagine the benefit and freedom of having the clinical team permanently available to answer your questions!

-
Questions will be asked online, through the dedicated form or chatbot.

-
After being submitted, they will be answered by the Program's clinical management team, in real time or within a maximum of 24 hours.
5 - Complete Weekly Motivational Program
-
As mentioned in the Standard Plan, our goal is to transform the act of eating into a ritual of attention and concentration on the meal and the food, which we can call mindful eating.

-
The automatic behavior associated with eating should be replaced by the conscious intake of food, both in quantity and quality.

-
This practice will improve the nutritional quality of your diet and contribute to your physical and mental well-being.

-
The goal of mindful eating is to develop a set of techniques that promote the adoption of healthy eating habits.

-
It is essential for promoting weight loss and reducing episodes of binge eating.

-
This will help you eliminate compulsive, automatic, or inappropriate eating behaviors, including:

-
In relation to the Standard Plan, in the Premium Plan, the motivational intervention will not be limited to advice. It will be a properly structured program, promoted weekly, defined and guided by Psychologists.

-
The program will consist of a set of techniques taught in phases 0 and 1.

-
After phase 1, weekly monitoring will be carried out and necessary corrections will be suggested, according to the progress of each subscriber.

6 - Complete Weekly Physical Activity Program
-
The physical activity program is intended to complement the healthy eating program.

-
However, physical activity is not just a complement to energy expenditure. In addition to weight loss, it is associated with a set of benefits that include reducing cardiovascular risk, preventing obesity and normalizing abdominal circumference, reducing stress and anxiety and improving mood, improving respiratory function and sleep quality, reducing the risk of falls and the risk of some chronic diseases and some types of cancer.

-
In the same way as with the motivational program, in the physical activity program, in addition to the advice given in the Standard Plan, a properly structured physical activity program will also be provided.

-
The physical activity program is developed and coordinated by Exercise Physiologists. The program consists of daily activities and aerobic exercises, administered in phases 0 and 1.

-
The execution of aerobic exercises will be monitored by the physiologists of the Miosotis Healthy Life Program, who will introduce the most appropriate adaptations for each subscriber.

7 - Weekly monitoring of weight, waist, and vital signs
-
At the end of each week, the subscriber must measure their weight and waist circumference and record them online and in the printed version of the Miosotis Healthy Life Program.

-
The online record will allow the clinical management team to analyze the data and define the best diet composition for the following phase and week.

-
Thus, the diet will be personalized to facilitate the achievement of the goals defined for each subscriber.

-
The record in the printed version facilitates the monitoring of the weekly evolution of weight and waist circumference.

-
During each phase, if the clinical management team detects significant deviations from the objectives, it will alert the subscriber to correct their diet and physical activity.

8 - Personalized Cardiovascular Risk Assessment
-
Cardiovascular risk is calculated at the end of each phase, based on data provided by subscribers.

-
Significant improvement from one phase to the next is not expected.

-
For subscribers with high cardiovascular risk, the goal is a significant reduction by the end of the 18-week program.

-
For subscribers with low cardiovascular risk, a significant reduction is not expected at the end of the 18 weeks—the goal is for it to remain stable.

-
Subscribers who maintain a healthy diet and physical activity will notice that, over the years, the risk will decrease (if high) or remain normal (if already normal).

9 - Customized Report at Each Week
-
At the end of each week, the Miosotis Healthy Life program's clinical team will send each subscriber a detailed report on their progress in adhering to the healthy eating program and the evolution of their weight, abdominal circumference, and cardiovascular risk.

-
In the weekly report, in addition to the analysis of progress, reference will also be made to adjustments that may need to be made to eating habits and physical activity.
