Miosotis Healthy Life program for slimming and healthy eating

It’s supported by the Mediterranean Diet, the healthiest diet known.

Aims the Obesity and Excess Weight treatment and the promotion of healthy eating.

It is coordinated by health professionals (Doctors, Nutritionists, Physiologists, Psychologists, etc.) to ensure the scientific accuracy of the Program and consequently, its nutritional quality.

It's a scientific based program supported on the subscriber genetic analysis and if needed, on food supplements and medications.

     - It’s provided in an online (pdf edition) and a printed edition presentation (a 295 high quality pressed book).

     - The online edition is provided weekly.

 

     - The printed edition is provided to the subscriber, by post, upon the subscription.

Miosotis Healthy life program for slimming and healthy eating is provided for 18 weeks, divided into 6 phases

Miosotis Healthy Live Program Methodology:

 

1. The first contact with the Program is made through:
     - Purchase of the printed edition of the book at any point of sale, whether in a physical bookstore or in a online store.

          or
     - Subscription to the Standard Plan or the Premium Plan.

2. If you opted to purchase the printed edition of the Miosotis Healthy Life Program, you must:
     - Follow the indicated guidelines step-by-step to obtain the best results.
     - Supplement the guidelines indicated in the book with those indicated in the Base Plan of the Miosotis Healthy Life Program, which is freely accessible.

3. If you subscribe to one of the Program Plans, the subscriber:
     - Will receive the printed edition of the book by mail.
     - Will gain access to the full content of the subscribed Plan.
     - Will need to answer a food questionnaire, register your initial biometric parameters, and indicate the objective of subscribing to the Miosotis Healthy Life Program.

     - Next, the clinical team managing the Program will indicate to the subscriber the suggested target weight, the current and target basal metabolic rate, and the baseline cardiovascular risk.

     - Note: If they wish, subscribers who started by purchasing the print edition may, at any time, migrate to the Standard or Premium Plan subscription.

Phase - 0: General recommendations
  • It is designed to be done in a week. However, its duration may be extended for another one or two weeks, if the subscriber will fit more confident to better understand the habits to be acquired.
  • The 6 golden rules of a healthy nutrition program are taught:
    •  Focus on the meal and the food
    • Made a healthy breakfast
    • Consume healthy cereals
    • Reduce fat consumption
    • Do not eat high-calorie snacks.
    • Maintain hydration
Phase - 1: Learning to eat

  • Just like Phase 0, Phase 1 is also designed to be done in a week. However, it may also be prolonged, for more one or two weeks, if the subscriber so desires.
  • At this stage you will learn to:
    • Eat a healthy meal
    • Prepare a healthy main dish
    • Reduce intake and increase satiety
    • Eat a fractional diet
    • Reduce fat when cooking food
    • Choose healthy meats
Phase - 2: Severe carbohydrate restriction
  • It will take place over four weeks and is characterized by the marked reduction in carbohydrate intake.
  • The habits to be acquired in this phase, at a rate of one per week, will be:
    • Reduce sugar intake
    • Avoid eating cakes and cookies
    • If you eat something sweet, do so only at the end of the meal.
    • Give preference to dark bread.
Phase - 3: Increase fiber and vegetable intake
  • It is characterized by increased intake of plant-based foods.
  • The aim is to promote an increase the intake of fiber and healthy carbohydrate.
  • The habits to be acquired in this phase, at a rate of one per week, will be:
    • Always have fresh fruits, vegetables and legumes at home.
    • Start main meals with soup, fruit or salads.
    • If you are hungry, after finishing the main course, eat salad or fruit
    • Always bring something healthy with you that you can eat if you are hungry.

Phase - 4: Restrict fat intake
  • It is the last phase of active weight loss, characterized by the reduction of fat intake. 
  • The objective is that by the end of the phase it has been achieved the desired weight and abdominal circumference and that a healthy eating regime is followed.
  • Daily caloric intake should be approximately: 42% from fruits and other vegetables; 30% cereals, dried legumes and tubers; 15% milk and dairy products; 10% eggs, meat, fish; 3% fat.
  • In terms of macronutrients, daily caloric intake should be around 45% carbohydrates, 30% fats and 25% proteins.
  • The saturated fats should be less than 30% and trans fats should be abolished.
  • The habits to be acquired in this phase, at a rate of one per week, will be:
    • Use little fat when preparing food.
    • Avoid fried foods and prefer boiled, grilled or baked foods.
    • Give preference to lean meats without visible fat.
    • Avoid consuming fat.
Phase - 5: Consolidation of habits
  • It will be the last phase of the program and is intended to consolidate the acquired healthy eating habits.
  • It lasts for two weeks, which can be extended if the user feels that some of the habits are not yet met conveniently assimilated.
