BASE PLAN

Select the Base Plan if you want a weight loss and healthy eating plan and if you think you are able to achieve your goals with just standard guidelines (without a close support from the Miosotis clinical team).

The Base Plan includes:

1 - Miosotis Healthy Living Program (printed edition):

  • The program lasts 18 weeks, divided into 5 phases.

  •  It is presented in a printed edition, through a high-quality 295-page book, which will be sent by mail.

  • The purpose of the printed edition is to facilitate consultation by subscribers and the recording of notes, weight, abdominal circumference, and vital parameters to facilitate the subscriber's analysis of their progress in the healthy eating program.

  • Weight and waist circumference should be measured weekly by the subscriber and recorded in the online section provided for this purpose. The goal is to allow the Miosotis Healthy Living Program clinical team to make a more accurate assessment of the evolution of the subscriber's parameters and suggest the most appropriate changes to the overall menu for the next phase;

2 - Standard menu in each phase:

  • This is a standard menu provided to subscribers at the beginning of each phase.

  • - As it is a standard menu, subscribers should adapt it to their daily diet, according to:

- The evolution of their weight and abdominal circumference;

- The recommendations made by the program's clinical management team;

- Their dietary preferences and restrictions;

  • Weekly, subscribers will have online access to a set of standard recommendations to be included in the standard menu.

  • According to the evolution of weight and abdominal circumference, at the end of each phase, the program's clinical management team will make recommendations to each subscriber so that they can better define their dietary plan.

3 – Menu advices on superfoods, functional foods, and foods high in sirtuins:

  • They form the basis of a diet focused on longevity, disease prevention, and metabolism optimization.

  • Superfoods are mostly of plant origin and provide essential vitamins, minerals, and antioxidants (e.g., açaí, blueberries, chia, quinoa, garlic).

  • Functional foods, in addition to their basic nutritional functions, contain bioactive compounds that provide health benefits and prevent chronic diseases, such as diabetes, some cancers, and cardiovascular diseases (e.g., olive oil, green tea, tomatoes, broccoli, etc.).

  • Sirtfoods are foods rich in compounds, especially polyphenols, that activate sirtuins, which are proteins that regulate cellular metabolism, repair DNA, and enhance fat burning (e.g., olive oil; green tea; dark chocolate; leafy green vegetables; walnuts; hazelnuts; turmeric; red onion; etc.).

  • In the suggested menus, these foods will be included in the most appropriate quantities to obtain the best benefit.
