MIOSOTIS HEALTHY LIFE PLANS

Three alternatives are provided

(Base, Standard, and Premium plans)

The subscriber can select the one that best suits their preferences.

STANDARD PLAN

 

  • Select the Standard Plan if you think you need customized support:

    • To fulfill the weight loss and healthy eating program.

    • Only in each phase of the program to help you achieve your weight and healthy eating goals.

  • ​​It is a more customized program, with weekly assessment of biometric parameters. Depending on its evolution, objectives will be defined for the next phase.

  • At the beginning of each phase, each subscriber will receive a customized menu for the next phase, prepared according to the objectives to be achieved.

2 - Miosotis Healthy Living Program (PDF and online edition):

  • The onlineprogram, like the printed edition, lasts 18 weeks, divided into 5 phases.

  • The online version is provided in eBook and PDF formats. The eBook version is provided upon subscription. The PDF version will be sent weekly, with the content for the following week.

​

  • The goal of the online edition is to facilitate consultation by subscribers, anywhere and at any time.​​

3 - Motivational Advices

  • The description of standard motivational techniques is given in Appendix 3.

 

  • The goal is to transform the act of eating into a ritual of attention and concentration. The automatism associated with excessive food and alcohol intake will be replaced by the conscious intake of food, both in quantity and quality.-


  • You will learn to distinguish between physical and emotional hunger, that is, between hunger and "the urge to eat." This will help eliminate compulsive, automated, or inappropriate eating behaviors.-


  • You will learn: to eat slowly and without distraction; to recognize hunger signals and eat only until satisfied; to distinguish between hunger and "the urge to eat"; to use your senses by observing colors, smells, sounds, textures, and flavors; to deal with feelings of guilt and anxiety related to food; to eat only with the goal of maintaining health and general well-being;

4 - Advices on physical activity

  • Information on physical activity techniques is also provided in Appendix 3

​​

  • Physical activity is crucial in reducing and maintaining weight and a healthy lifestyle.

​​

  • It is taught that at least 30 minutes of physical activity should be done per day.

​​

  • Physical activity is not limited to running or walking. Daily routines can be used to incorporate some exercises that can be done at home.

​​

  • Physical activity is associated with: weight loss, prevention of obesity and normalization of abdominal circumference; reduction of cardiovascular risk (risk of heart attack, stroke, death from cardiac causes, diabetes, etc.); reduction of stress and anxiety; improved respiratory function and sleep quality; reduction of the risk of some types of cancer; reduction of the risk of falls in the elderly;

  • Equivalents of physical activity are taught so that each person can choose their favorites and those that best suit their lifestyle.

​​

  • Three types of exercise (push-ups, sit-ups, and squats) are also taught that can be done daily at home.


5 - Weight and waist monitoring at each stage

  • Weight and abdominal circumference are two reference values ​​to assess the effectiveness of the diet and physical activity regimen in the treatment of obesity and overweight and the impact on reducing cardiovascular risk.

  • Monitoring is done at the end of each phase of the Program, so that the standard, personalized menu can be adjusted for the next phase.


6 - Customized menu for each phase

  • In the Standard Plan, subscribers have access to the standard menu.

​​

  • However, at the beginning of each phase, they will receive a customized menu, based on the evolution of biometric parameters, the objectives to be achieved, and the dietary preferences and limitations of each subscriber.

​​

  • Each menu will cover all meals of the day (breakfast, lunch, dinner, and snacks).


7 - Weekly literacy program on healthy eating

  • Training in healthy eating is essential for the treatment of obesity and overweight and for progressing towards a healthier life.

​​

  • This is a newsletter, prepared weekly, containing information on: healthy cooking techniques; healthy foods; news about healthy eating; etc.
